Congratulations to the 2009 Contest Winners!

Every year it gets harder to judge the contest. With so many awesome displays, we end up with a short list in each category and we simply are not sure which one is best! But we have to pick. There is one exception and that is the commercial category. Shadrack of TN is the undisputed winner.

Again this year my 10 year old son Alex picked the Grand Prize winner. For a while it looked like it was going to be the Guitar Hero entry that won but then in the eleventh hour the tides turned. Just so you all know, I will officially change the rules next year so that previous Grand Prize winners and Commercial entries are not eligible for the Grand Prize. That rule was followed this year.

Again, our congratulations to all of the winners. I wish we could have had 100s of winners. When we get the videos posted you will see that they were amazing!

Dan Baldwin

Grand Prize Winner: Billy Kloos of New Jersey
From Billy's Entry: Hi, My name is Billy Kloos. I am 15 years old and with the help of my cousin who is also 15 and my brother who is 13, we have assembled an ever growing light display consisting of 200,000 lights, 416 channels of Light-O-Rama animation, over 100 various yard decorations, and a 42" 12 piece natividy set. This year we took donations of non-perishable food items to help the needy. I paid for the whole LOR system (26 ctb kits) by myself from money I made from a Landscaping company I started with my father.
