ShowTime Solution:  Traffic Control

We're all about creating dynamic shows by mixing lights, music and motion of almost anything and everything. 

But traffic lights?

If you think about it, a typical intersection has 6 to 16 different combinations of lights that can be displayed in the traffic signals.  Red might be on for north/south traffic with a green right turn arrow while east/west traffic has the left turn arrow and there might even be pedestrian crosswalk signs flashing.  It's not really complicated at all for computers to figure out and keep the traffic flowing smoothly and crashes to a minimum.

Although we don't recommend this, Light-O-Rama ShowTime Pro controllers were field tested for over a year in real-time, real-world traffic environments and found robust/reliable enough for the job.  Just like Light-O-rama should not be used in medical equipment, we recommend that it not be use in traffic control, but we are impressed that our equipment was found satisfactory for such a demanding application and is being used without issue!
