ShowTime Director

We're all about creating dynamic shows by mixing lights, music and motion via electrical control of almost anything and everything.  What if you don't want to dedicate a personal computer to control everything?  We've made it easy with our ShowTime Director series.  Simply create your show as normal with our ShowTime Software Suite on your PC, transfer all the show commands and audio to an SD memory card and plug that SD memory card into one of ShowTime Directors.  The Director replaces your PC in a Light-O-Rama data network.  Why go through this hassle?  How does your PC do outside when it's raining?  Scared someone at your venue will want to make an "adjustment" to the show without asking?  Maybe you just want to lock everything down so the show runs automatically without worrying about protecting a fragile PC.  The ShowTime Director is the answer.

Simple Controller Configuration using Standalone ShowTime Director

1. The Light-O-Rama ShowTime Software works on your personal computer running Microsoft Windows and allows you to design your own shows.  When your show is ready, the show commands and audio are transferred to a standard SD memory card.
2. The standard SD memory card with all the show commands and audio is plugged into your ShowTime Director.  The computer running your ShowTime Software Suite is no longer needed.
3. The ShowTime Director (ShowTime MiniDirector or LOR1602MP3) runs your show and is typically powered from a nearby controller.
4. The ShowTime Director can run your show continuously, automatically start/shows shows from it's built-in clock (LOR1602MP3) or use an external triggering device such as a pushbutton or motion sensor.
5. The ShowTime Director has a standard stereo 1/8" mini-jack for connecting the audio to your sound system.
6. The Light-O-Rama ShowTime Pro or ShowTime PC controllers include special effects such as simple on/off, intensities, smooth fading, twinkling, shimmering.  Up to 200 controllers (each handling 16 unique electrical circuits) can be daisy chained on the LOR network giving you the ability to control over 3200 channels
7. Electrical power is supplied to the controller placed close to your lights so you don't need to run long extension cords.  Commands from the ShowTime Software suite are performed on each controller.  Power to each of the attached lighting circuits  is controlled independently.  Think of having many dimmer switches that the computer can change very quickly and independently.

The ShowTime Director also allows you to connect external triggers to start shows.  Many people connect a simple pushbutton so they can start their shows on demand.  Others get clever and attach their ShowTime Directors to motion sensors or secret switches embedded in the floors or walls to start the action.  Imagine what you could do at Halloween.

	ShowTime Director DC-MP3 The ShowTime Director DC-MP3 is the industrial version of the DC-MP3 board below (Light-O-Rama Director Card with MP3 Player). It is a powerful yet compact light show director. It is designed to control a network of Light-O-Rama (LOR) light controllers while simultaneously playing MP3 music files.  Datasheet.  Manual. The unit is simple to operate. You insert a SD memory card and plug it in. It will then run the show. This unit is housed in a rugged steel housing with convenient mounting slots on the sides. It can be placed on a desktop or placed in an enclosure for outdoor use. This unit performs in temperatures down to -40 degrees  It powers itself from a nearby controller.  6.5"w x 2.75"h x 1.25"d.  Includes a 128Mb (or larger) SD card and a USB card reader to transfer shows from your PC to the SD card.
	ShowTime Director DC-MP3 Riser Connector The riser connector is used to connect inputs such as switches and motion detectors to you ShowTime Director DC-MP3 above or the ShowTime Director DC-MP3 Board below.  A real timesaver and easy on your eyes when connecting those tiny wires.  Manual
Front Rear	ShowTime Mini Director with MP3 The mDM-MP3 (mini Director Module with MP3 Player) is designed to control a network of Light-O-Rama (LOR) light controllers while simultaneously playing MP3 music files. This is our smallest director unit. It does not have an internal clock for scheduling shows so an external timer is required if you want to start your show at a specific time. It can be triggered by external switches and/or motion detectors.  It powers itself from a nearby controller.  2.5"w x 3.75"h x 1"d.  Datasheet.  Manual. The unit is simple to operate. You insert a SD memory card and plug it in to a LOR Network. It is powered by the nearest controller.  Includes a 128Mb (or larger) SD card.  NOTE:A SD card writer is required to move the show from your PC to the SD card. If you do not have one you can get the SD Card Reader/Writer option below.
